Biography
Cunningham Pathology, a Sonic Healthcare anatomic pathology practice, is privileged to include Kathryn D. Clary, M.D., as a member of our medical staff. Dr. Clary has extensive hospital and professional experience with an impressive academic background.
Dr. Clary graduated magna cum laude from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She received her Master of Science degree in basic medical science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham before going on to earn her medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine.
Dr. Clary went on to serve a five-year anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Alabama Hospitals, where she subsequently completed a cytopathology fellowship.
Over the years, Dr. Clary has developed extensive professional and hospital experience. She has received numerous awards and honors throughout her career, including the Outstanding Lecture in Laboratory Medicine Award. She was also a National Merit Scholar in college. She served as a staff pathologist with CytoPath for over a decade before joining Cunningham Pathology.
Dr. Clary has authored and coauthored over a dozen abstracts and articles that have subsequently been published in peer-reviewed medical journals.
Dr. Clary is a fellow of the American Society for Clinical Pathology and the College of American Pathologists.
She holds full medical licensure is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and cytopathology by the American Board of Pathology.
